When we lose someone, the natural response is Grief. Being bereaved is an emotional suffering and pain that is highly individual and personal. None can feel such grief for you, and even though you might have people mourning the same person, the feelings and grief is personal. Everyone feels it in their own way. Some of us stay in denial for a while, while others acknowledge the loss instantly and set about mourning.
Bereavement brings with a beehive of emotions and you can quickly get swamped with various activities. It is imperative to seek support at such times and lean on the shoulders of a good friend or family. Do not be afraid to show your emotions and cry when your eyes get wet. Not, it is not a sign for weakness. If you also do not have raging tear ducts, you need not force out the tears. Everyone griefs in their own way.
